Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan by land border (Double Immigration?)
In this Central Asia travel vlog, we left Uzbekistan in a night bus and drove from Tashkent city to Kazakhstan. We crossed the border on foot and the bus continued all night through Kazakhstan before reaching the border with Kyrgyzstan. And thats how we arrived at our next country in Central Asia. While Kazakhstan gave us visa free access for two weeks, we had to get tourist visas for visiting Kyrgyzstan.
For the Kyrgyzstan tourist visa, we obtained an invitation letter from Kyrgyz Guided Tours (thank you Asel!) and used this invitation letter to apply for the 30 day Kyrgyzstan tourist evisa online. We got the approved evisa within a week from the day we contacted Kyrgyz Guided Tours.

Does the bus go directly from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan or does it pass through Kazakhstan as well ? I'm asking because of visa issues (I want to go to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan ONLY) Do I need Kazakhstan Visa as well to get to this bus ? knowing that I only want to visit Uzbekistan - Kyrgyzstan

Not directly, it goes into Kazakhstan and then to Kyrgyzstan (we have shown in the video 😃) and Kazakh visa is required depending on your nationality

We booked it at the Tashkent "avtobus" bus station just before taking the bus.

Depends on your nationality 😅 we needed one as Indians.
The visa policy of Kyrgyz Republic sucks! Be aware that they aren’t granting visas but asking for money!!!
