Even in India Foreign Tourists have to pay more for buying Entrance Tickets while Visiting Historical Mounuments etc. Similary as a Foreigner you had to pay more entrance fees there. Samarqand is a Historically famous . I have also read about this place in my School History Books. Architectural Monuments are superb. Happy that you could buy Potatoes, Onion, Tomatoes and Pasta from a local shop. That red Tomato Pasta, and the fried Potatoes you prepared simply looked yummy and delicious.
