UV Slider || Best Bow Sight For 2023?

Спорт

The UV Slider. First impressions...10/10. Crafted in a way that only Ultraview could, designed to perform, it's a wonderfully engineered with the bowhunter in mind. The Dual Dial design is a new take on the windage assembly. By tucking the windage dial into the elevation dial, it keeps the whole sight assembly smaller compared to other sights on the market without sacrificing functionality. Each pin has its own indicator for your sight tape so no matter where your scope is on the rail, you know the yardages.

For those complaining about the price....... The UV Slider is a target sight pretending to be a hunting sight. If you buy an Axcel Achieve XP or Lanslyde Pro and put an Accustat multipin scope on it, then add a good sight light, you're looking at a similar price point. So as much of a sticker shock as it is, it's not that outrageous if you itemize everything that you would have to buy to have a comparable system from a different manufacturer. On top of that, accessories have a longer shelf life than the bows we put them on. This will be relevant several bows into the future. I'll have a review out when i get mine. I'm in batch 3 so hopefully they work out any kinks from the initial run.

So how’d that all work out for you? I’ve got batch 7 coming in April so I’m hoping even more kinks have been worked out, if there are any that is. I can understand the sticker shock a little but I’m investing in the last sight I’ll ever really need. We live once, you want the best friggen go for it!

@@rickd0320 i have a review on my channel if you'd like to check it out. Long story short, don't buy one if you're left handed, the windage knob doesn't behave like it's supposed to, the Dual dial grip piece (the rubber part that fits over the wheel) that comes with it is loose, but the individually packaged ones fit better, the screws on Batch 3 are better, and they put thread locker on most, if not all the screws. So it's not perfect, but it needs a few tweaks.

@@ajbholsters2035just finished watching it and I have to say I was a little nervous at first because after all I just dropped six bills on a bow sight. Still no regrets and a learned a couple of new things about the sight. I loved your review and I subscribed to your channel. I love your style, brutally honest and straightforward, also had me cracking up! Thank you for your comment, I look forward to checking out your channel. Fortunately I’m not a lefty because that is pretty lame. Like I said on the other video, I’m hoping some of these minor issues have been worked out by batch 7. The reality for me is my hha was a Christmas present and because hha gives a very generous military discount I should be able to maybe even make a little money on it. So essentially I paid $200 for this sight, definitely worth that! FYI I agree with the guy who said you should make some short videos. I think a lot of people see 42 minutes and say nope but once people get a taste of your style think they will be more apt to check some of your longer stuff out, I know I will!

@@rickd0320 thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it and found the information useful. I'd be interested to see what changes they made by Batch 7. I would hope it would be perfect by then and anything I had an issue with would be resolved. I know their sales team watches every review related to their products (i found that out when they recognized me at a shoot 😬). Whether they make changes based on them is another manner. Anyway, good luck with your HHA sight and eventually the Slider 👍

I think I would set it up where the right side sight tape is for the very bottom pin near the bubble.

That's how my Option Canyon Pounder is set up. Left side tape is for the single pin that doubles as the middle pin and the right side tape is for the bottom pin. The left goes to 120 yards, the right gets out to 140.

technically you can order other cartridges to go in the XL scope, but then you're out more $$ and have parts you'll never use. I hope they offer a single pin for the kit in place of the three pin.

Did you end up figuring out how to set a floater pin marker? Always baffles me when that's omitted. It's one thing I love about my Dialed Arxos. When I received it I was excited to find it came with a bunch of extra yardage pins for ultimate/future flexibility.

If I was to switch to a single pin cartridge what’s the adjustment like to set my 20 with dial at the top? I’m running hha rize now and the scope adjustment is pretty easy so just looking for feedback to this sight

I’ll keep my Landslyde. I tried the UV3 and it was 3D printed junk so I’d be skeptical of anything from them especially at six bills.

My favorite comment from those against UV. There is nothing 3D printed on a UV3. The original scopes were 3D printed, as they were never intended to be an actual product.
