UTVUnderground Presents: RJ Anderson XP1K2

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Professional Driver. One-Of-A-Kind Heavily Modified Vehicle. Do Not Attempt. You Could Die. “XP1K2” is a seven-minute onslaught of intense off-road road action, set in a massive 600-acre forest near Mt. Baker, Washington. The video stars Off-Road Racing Champion RJ Anderson, driving a custom Holz Racing built Polaris RZR XP 1000 Side-by-Side (SxS), complete with a Polaris ProStar® 1000 Muzzys Performance engine and custom Walker Evans Racing shocks. The “XP1K2” crew, including Tony Vanillo and his team of dirt and ramp engineers at the Off-Road Management Group, transformed the remote wooded location into a stunning array of creative obstacles, which included more than 20 natural terrain and man-made works of (terrifying) art. Spoiler alert - RJ Anderson reclaims the world record for a distance jump in a SxS - and does so by clearing a death-defying 100-foot gap!
More than a year of planning went in to the development and execution of the “XP1K2” campaign. It took the build team of 10, more than a month to carve out the heart-stopping playground as multiple obstacles featured hand built “ladder trail” which required two to three days each to weld, cover in wood and secure safely. The Mad Media crew of 40 then spent 14 days on location battling wind, rain, mud and fog to capture each of their incredible imagined obstacles.

Ah man how great is this, can't believe this sport has been born...Wish I get the chance to try it as soon as possible, cuz my sport is downhill biking which I'm crazy for and I'm a fan also of all the off-road motorsports and this is the perfect combination of the 2...And the car/buggy looks so co0O00LLL, wish I could have one, maybe in the future, who knows. Respect to the driver from a Portuguese downhiller emigrant in Holland. Great fuckin videooooooo.

im a Polaris tech in Ohio...i have to say that First: this video is soooo sick!!! definitely showing the capabilities of these machines....stock or modified. However, SECONDLY, i feel like this video is exactly why i have such good job security. SOME Polaris RZR owners feel as though they can push their machine to its limit, and nothing will happen, and when they break, feel as though because they saw a PROFESSIONAL video of these awesome machines doing these stunts, and never visually breaking or failing....that its a bunch of malarkey when we tell them that they aren't designed for these types of stunts....especially when they have a $2000 labor bill for a full motor rebuild.....now don't get me wrong, i LOVE these videos, but be prepared to pay for the broken parts, do to your.....Evil Knievel-trie ;)

I am sure Ford dealers feel this way after people see them racing Raptors in Baja disguised as Trophy Trucks, or Subaru dealers when people begin to think they can also do what Ken Block does.. You can't fix stupid. If a guy crashes because he watched this video then tried to mimic it, chances are that guy was going to be dumb enough to crash on his own at some point anyway. I don't watch Rambo and go out and shoot my gun from the hip, we need to have more trust in one another and yet at the same time still be free to push limits!
