I did this same trip July 24/25 with my wife and our two dogs. It's one of our favourite memories from this past summer. We plan to do a little more scouting in the area, so that we have a good plan B if that spot is taken. We are outfitted for backpacking, so we have some compact gear, which really helped us fit most of our stuff in two 80L totes stacked in the trunk. We also went simple with food, by just packing dehydrated pouch meals. Happy Trails.

Honestly, I could wash my Corvette in half the time and effort you put in foaming, blocking vents, blow drying, cleaning wheels, and towel drying. I have NOT put ceramic, wax, buffer, or anything on my paint and will never for the life of my car and my paint surface will look as good as yours in any amount of time.
