    My Teryx went the opposite way after installing the SATV arched/forward a-arms, when the a-rms pushed the wheels forward the tie rods pulled the rear of the wheels inwards leaving me with 1 1/2" tow out, not tow in like yours. Another good tip for alignment is to run a straight line from the rear wheels past the front wheels and measure from the line to the front and rear of the tire, this ensures the wheels are aligned straight with the machine. Great video, thanks for sharing !!

    You should push the machine forward and back about 10 feet to fully remove any tire scrub. It easier and more thorough than turning the steering wheel back n forth.

    Thanks for the video! You have to use string or a method to square your front wheels to your back wheels before you can set total toe.

  • @DirtRoadLife1

    @DirtRoadLife1

    4 ай бұрын

    The string doesn’t always work I feel. It’s hard with how knobby some tires are on the sides. Also, a lot of bikes come with different size tires and wheels front to rear and people get the same size when they upgrade. So the rear tires are offset from the front.

  • @dannyb8955

    @dannyb8955

    4 ай бұрын

    Correct. If the wheels are offset or wider front/rear, you just subtract the difference or add the difference depending on the position. Not hammering your video, just pointing out the 4 wheels need to be squared before setting your toe. Thanks for your time putting the video together!

    Depends what kind of adjustment your a-arms have but you can definitely adjust the toe in and toe out with the tie rods. If a-arms are adjustable you can do camber as well. Start with toe and see where it gets you

    Good video but your numbers dont make mathematical sense. I dont think your measurements were accurate. Your starting measurements were .44 and 42 1/2. That would make dead straight 43 1/4 . Your second measurement was 44 and 43 1/4. That cant be. If you move the front of the tire the back will move too. So if the front of the tire was 43 1/4 the rear would also be 43 1/4= dead straight.Your final measurement was 43 3/4 and 43 1/2 which would actually give you 1/4 " tow out. I guess what Im trying to say is that if you beginning measurements are accurate then your final front measurement should have been 43" to get 1/4 " tow in.

    @@DirtRoadLife1 I actually have to line up my front wheels and your video has helped me. I think what I will do is measure the front tires the same way that you did. Ill then take those numbers and find the middle. Ill put a mark on the front of the tire and then move the tire in or out until I hit center and then go 1/4 inch in.
