@@adaam924 Java island population is about 155M and Maharashtra population is 126M and Mumbai GDP is $310B and Jakarta GDP is about $220B. Yes, Java island GDP is bigger than Maharashtra but Jakarta GDP is not bigger than Mumbai. And, yes, Indonesia's GDP per capita is higher than India's (almost 170%). So, yes, Java GDP per capita is higher than Maharashtra's.

@@user-pakshibhithi10 you are right mumbai is better than jakarta, there are many reasons jakarta is not as big as mumbai but i will mention only 2 first, our president is focused on spending hundreds of billions of dollars on infrastructure development to accelerate the pace of economic growth in the next 10-20 years secondly, our president is trying to balance the development of all the islands in Indonesia (we have 5 big islands), if only the president is selfish and only wants Jakarta to progress then Jakarta will be much better than mumbai At the moment the Indonesian capital will be moved to another island in the middle of Indonesian territory, the reason is due to logistical problems because we have 5 big islands and hope there is no social inequality The only thing that can be confirmed that India is better than Indonesia is in the field of military and nuclear weapons (sorry my english is a bit messy)

@@adaam924 Oh, I'm not saying that Mumbai is better than Jakarta. I'm not in any competition. I think Jakarta is better than Mumbai. It has no big slums like Mumbai. And, life for an avg person in Jakarta is probably better than the life for an avg person in Mumbai. Mumbai is only rich because it has a very good location and it is the capital of Maharashtra (which is a coastal state with high population). Also, Maharashtra govt only focuses on Mumbai's development. Some regions of Maharashtra are extremely under-developed. Those poor regions in Maharashtra are on par with some Northern Indian states, when it comes to development. Northern Indian states are very poor compared to Southern and Western Indian states. Mumbai isn't the best city to live in, in India. There are other cities with better standard of living compared to Mumbai. For example, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Indore, Gurgaon and Chandigarh. These cities are just not as big as Mumbai, hence they aren't that popular. Chennai and Hyderabad are big cities in their own right, both have a population higher than 10M. But, Mumbai's population is more than 20M and Delhi's population is 32M. Hence, Mumbai and Delhi are much more popular cities.

@@adaam924 As of March 2023, Jakarta's GDP is $ 304 bn while Mumbai's GDP is $ 368 billion in nominal terms. Mumbai is the 5th richest city in Asia ( lead by Tokyoz Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul) while Jakarta doesn't even feature in the Top 10. Btw the most important factor here is GDP growth, which in India's case is 7+% while in Indonesia's case is between 4-5%.

@@yashchauhan7448 you are right mumbai is better than jakarta, there are many reasons jakarta is not as big as mumbai but i will mention only 2 first, our president is focused on spending hundreds of billions of dollars on infrastructure development to accelerate the pace of economic growth in the next 10-20 years secondly, our president is trying to balance the development of all the islands in Indonesia (we have 5 big islands), if only the president is selfish and only wants Jakarta to progress then Jakarta will be much better than mumbai At the moment the Indonesian capital will be moved to another island in the middle of Indonesian territory, the reason is due to logistical problems because we have 5 big islands and hope there is no social inequality The only thing that can be confirmed that India is better than Indonesia is in the field of military and nuclear weapons (sorry my english is a bit messy)
