Me and my cousin were driving towards Nordkapp from Kokkola (Finland) and we stopped by in Utsjoki. Utsjoki is a municipality in Northern Finland, at the border between Finland and Norway.
''Ulriikan Kulttuuri- ja hiljentymispolku'' is a trail that runs through the church landscape of Utsjoki and a nationally significant cultural environment. The length of the trail is about 2,3 km.
The trail, built by the Utsjoki Church Hut Association, also tells about Sámi construction and cultural history. The Utsjoki parish has named the trail the Contemplation Trail.
It's definitely one of Utsjoki's must-see destinations, not only because of its historical narrative, but also because of its nature.
