UTG Recon bipod review
After several requests, I picked up one of these UTG Recon bipods to put it through the review process.

The new model is better: leapers.com/index.php?act=prod_detail&itemno=TL-BP01-A&midx=2200&allids=2199_2198_2200. Note that the new model has a lever for adjusting the tension instead of the silly screws.

The UTG Pro has a lockout for pan/tilt ball socket but for $179 I will stick with this model..
It would be nice if I could actually see the bipod and it wasn't 5 miles away.
Nice review, any ideas of what aftermarket lever adjustment screw can be used instead of those flat head screws?

The current model has a lever instead of a screw. See Leapers website. The new model is called "UTG® Recon 360® TL Bipod" and the model numbers end with "-A". The model shown in this video is "Leapers UTG Heavy Duty Recon 360 Bipod".

@@cliffb.2416 I'm not sure. I bet they would sell you one as a "spare part" if you contact them. Hopefully the threads are the same and it will work for you. If not, Bolt Depot would probably have a thumb screw that would work just fine.
