My mom had same issue…she is in her 40’s. She didn’t wanted to remove her uterus. She always says its like removing an organ from body which can make her weaker in future. But we always saw her in pain. She bleeds heavily and the period cycle happens 2-3 times in a month. We went to aster. And same was said. 98% only be helpful. Embolisation is for selective patients. If fibroids are present in inner side of uterus( which was there for my mom) , it will be complicated. It will cause more pain after the process. This will be then after cured only after removing uterus. So we didn’t wanted to take risk. Fibroids can be present in different parts of uterus. But some parts especially when it is in the inner walls, it will be risky to perform embolisation. And so we had to remove the uterus in her case.
