UT Medical Center Department Spotlight: Pharmacy
At UT Medical Center, our pharmacy team handles all aspects of care related to the use of medicine for our patients and our community. Our pharmacy team is made up of pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians, informatics coordinators, resident pharmacists, nurses and others. Together, these team members cover a range of roles across outpatient pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, inpatient pharmacy, oncology pharmacy and infusion services.
Did you know our retail pharmacies fill nearly 600 prescriptions daily-sometimes reaching up to 700 per day at our main campus and specialty locations? Learn more about our hard working pharmacy team members in this video and help us thank them for their valuable contributions to our community!
