I met Anthony Joshua in Seattle when I was working in the international area of the airport and I can say one thing, this man was the nicest and most humble athlete that I’ve ever crossed. I’ve met plenty of famous people who have their noses in the air and won’t give you the time of day even to say hi. Besides Tech N9ne the rapper, AJ was on another level of being a gracious human being. Not only did he talk with me but he talked with all of my coworkers. We were all in disbelief like who would have thought that the heavyweight champion of the world would spend 30 minutes to talk to us regular joes. Thank you for that moment AJ and blessings to you. Also Usyk great performance and a well deserved win. You also are a great man both in and out of the ring. Blessings to you and your country of Ukraine. May God be with us all.

To say he's the p4p best to ever box is greatly exaggerated 😂😂 also the split decision was a joke. I have to say tho the 1st fight i was confident Joshua would beat Usyk cuz he's smaller and not as strong, especially after i saw him vs Chisora. But for this fight i was confident Usyk was gonna win again, tho i knew it would be a more competitive fight. The only success aj had tho was with shots to the body, i dont get why he didn't try that more cuz he did little the 1st half of the fight. It probably wasn't gonna be enough but i feel like Aj could really have done more, alltho he doesn't have Usyk's ability. But big respect to Aj for his humbleness and accepting all these challenges over the years, never ducked anyone.

Without seeing what Eddie will say yet, I predict he will say: 1. AJ is a true competitor who will be back. 2. He will start touting AJ’s resume. 3. He will say that Usyk is the #1 P4P fighter in the world and there is no shame in getting a split decision in it. 4. He will say everyone told him and AJ not to take the rematch. 5. He will say he believes AJ is the second best heavyweight in the world.

I really hope people cut AJ some slack, he worked so hard for this fight, the ending although completely out of character was so understandable! Not everyone can handle defeat well especially not in these circumstances where you can clearly tell he was all over the place. Before commenting negative things people should really think about how they would feel if they were in Joshua’s position, I can guarantee the people commenting nasty things are the same ones who were backing AJ back when he was reigning and at the top, you really do find out peoples true colours when you’re down. He’s still one of the greatest boxers who has brought so much diversity, inclusivity and heightened so many peoples love for the sport. 😂😂😆 Behave!! The list of names who has he fought except Usyk? Ruiz? Povetkin? Parker? Takam? Klitschko? The list before that is laughable. And out of the ones with the question mark, Klitschko was dusted by Fury in his prime. Takam nowhere near good enough only challenged once for titles. Parker highly touted but failed to meet the potential despite holding WBO title. Nothing special about him. Povetkin another one challenger for heavyweight title but failed. Again not exactly the best. Ruiz another one who came out of nowhere and decked AJ to win the title, another boxer he should be beating who before that win was a challenger not a world champion. He's fought nobody really of name and status except Usyk.

I understand the meltdown, I think he knows what that defeat means to his career. If anything his reaction only reflects on him and he is only hurting himself here. A lot of people like to judge someone by their worst behavior and associate it to what they really are. Some people do way worse than that on their bad day. I'm not saying that was classy, it was kinda ugly but for a meltdown of someone who bet everything on that one fight, at least it's not unredeemable. And the thing is, he came back to try and make it right. I think THIS as a whole, should be what defines him

I would if I was sat on a motorcrosser, in gear, clutch in and revving at 6000rpm with AJ's boot laces ties together.

For me usyk win was a perfect display of the sweet science You hit and do not get hit His movement and work rate was just something else However he is two small to defeat fury unless he can box with a step ladder Remember fury can match him with movement

Usyk too slick for AJ right now, needs more experience for a guy like him, he could have done more, surprised he didn’t go for it in later rounds he must of been shattered. Impressed though but closer than the first fight and only room to improve, personally think Joshua should keep learning and continue, he’l only get better .. no shame in losing to probably a p4p great who would give anyone in history of boxing big problems; happy for Ukraine, stay strong keep fighting 🥊🥊

Enjoyed that!! Unlucky Anthony. Fought a great fight. But Usyk is just far to slick and skilled. Unbelievable as it seems,as AJ has the attributes of a phenomenal heavyweight!! And I think can beat most heavyweights! But not this one. As for the outburst at the end...frustration and being human!!! That's it....mic drop!!!🤣

I'm not an AJ fan and i started to hate when he stormed off and threw the belts but i understood when he explained about how passionate he was about this fight and losing is hard really i understood because he took the time to praise Usak after explaining. He showed good sportsmanship and i aint mad at him for his frustraion

And yet other fighters who lose rarely do this. And if you can name one, I'd bet that they aren't preachers of the stay humble mantra. Even his praise of usyk was a little back-handed and classless.

Well done AJ , you gave it all in there, but unfortunately Alexander has some serious boxing skills. Be proud of yourself, and what you have achieved. you came from the streets, and turned your life around, which is extremely hard to do, but you did it. Stay humble Champ God bless
