You could tell the referee was lost when she didn't give any yellow cards to the 7 colombia players standing around the penalty spot trying to delay and distract the kicker for like 2 straight minutes...
Only game I've ever seen where the fans were gasping repeatedly over all the hard fouls. Ref let it get out of hand.

that ref was just terrible, you could see that she was waiting for the US players to react. I saw it 3xs. The Colombians with cheap elbows, and kicks. Thank God our players were ultra-professional, but this was deliberate by that costa rican referee.

Colombia is a dirty team. Saw that in the WC. Even before that, in a closed-door warmup game against Ireland in Australia before the WC, Ireland stopped the game 20 minutes in, because Colombia was playing to hurt and did hurt Irish players. One player was sent to the hospital. Now I understand the difference between Physical and Dirty. Colombia plays dirty. I'm not talking about 1 or 2 players. The whole team plays like that. Which isn't needed since Colombia has some talented players
How did Rodman stay on the field ? The way it is shown right here was easy to kick her out with a second yellow

The ref failed to take control of the game when she had the chance. Some of the worst officiating I've ever witnessed... she needs to be reprimanded.

Don’t blame the players of both teams. The was supposed to be a referee in the field. But I guess she never showed up.

Wasn't surprised this occurred. Colombia was losing by multiple goals and the USWNT has been under pressure/scrutiny starting from their World Cup performance to their recent loss against Mexico.
