Some people said that tari ji doing so much solo in this gazal he is spoiling this gazal this and that.. He is playing in e very good mood and in a private mehfil..its not a organised stage show by some company or not a big platform to prove anyone that he is best..in private mehfil its his comfort zone where he can take risk or any tabla player should take risk. Sometime it happened that u miss a sam or tempo ,,but u have to take risk to improvise something new and that only happen in mehfil.he is playing not for us he is playing for them and for himself ... someone record the video and posted in utube and we come to judge him..as a 70 year old tabla player he is in very good mental health and playing like a child. We should proud what he give to the tabla community in terms of sangat and also solo..he already proved the world that no one is near him in terms of vocal sangat,,just like no one is closer to instrumental sangat as zakir hussain..in 2023 even zakir hussain miss tempo and sum in his solo as he get older like 72..so these old legends are gem to us we can't even question them because they proved themselves in their youth..tari sahab ka laggi ahaha gazal bura ho ya achha agar tari sahab hota tha to kaya lagta tha us time ki recording me..we should pray to god that these legends should live 100 years and play..

I was about to comment the same that such kind experiments can't be done in a professional concert & that's why we could witness what more tabla can go beyond just a sangat theka to a Ghazal .Ustad Tari Khan Sahab is far senior & a legend so he isn't expected to play a simple theka.The audience needs those rarely heard tabla intricacies .Even Mohammad sahab understands that thing & he loves this Tabla legend like us it's a learning for any singer to understand instruments sometimes .It's a homely atmosphere of music lovers & everyone there is enjoying it ,there are 100s of best tabla players in Classical music in solo & accompaniment but When comes to sangat to ghazals there is no one close to Ustad Tari Khan Sahab

ہر ايک کا سُننے کا اپنا ليول ہے کُچھ لوگوں کے ليئے يہی گانا سُر سے لبريز تر ہو گا اور وہ اسی پر مست ہو جائيں گے کيونکہ اُن کی سماعت ہی اتنے درجے کی ہوتی ہے۔😂

اچھی طرز ہے مگر گانے کا رچاؤ نہيں بنا۔ کيونکہ دونوں آرٹسٹ اپنا آپ دکھانے کی خواہش ميں مُبتلا نظر آئے۔ محمد علی بلاوجہ لے کو بٹھا رہے ہيں جب ايک لے رکھ لی تو اسے بدلنا غلط ہے۔

Janaab tabla is so loud and is not accompanying to ghazal. Dont be misunderstand. Its a tabla solo. Listen Mehdi hassan sahab with tari khan sahab. Sukoon is there. But here mehfil is for tabla. Ghazal is like nagma and solo is going. Gaane ke liye sunkoon chahaiye hai sangat ka

Zakir couldn't do what Tari does in Ghazal, Tari couldn't do what Zakir can in classical. An Apple and an Orange in a way :) But I have to say, it is not the same Tari Khan, or Zakir that used to be, unfortunately.

Yes, I did see it, I am a big fan of Tari, his spontaneity and creativity on the spot is amazing, but I have to admit, Zakir has a lot more in his storage when it comes to classical. I personally listen to ghazal, so Tari is it for me, but I see he is unfortunately losing it.

Tari khan is extremely talented classical tabla player but he dont show his talen in every place..it depends on audiance..its the beauty of classical music that zakir hussain and tari khan both are living legend and piller of Punjab gharana but they both are very different..they enriched the same gharana in their different ways.. zakir hussain had some ofthe opportunity to be a son of great alla rakha sahab but tari khan sahab made his legacy on his own..in terms of western tone zakir ji has more audiance attractive power ,, tari sahab has too but sometimes western English education matter..its natural for every tabla player to communicate very easily with their own..thats why great mehdi hasan ji gulam ali ji nfak their all time favourite tabla player was tari khan..it was difficult for zakir sahab to communicate with them thats why zakir ji and nfak live was not that great as tari khan...but tari khan sahabs 3 finger kayda 2 finger laggi is just awesome.. We are nothing in front of them.. yes zakir sahab has more popularity more presence, but in terms of own capabilities own art form we are no one and nothing infront of them and even we are not one percent close to them.. It will be very shameful if we compare these 2 different types of gem in this age, after they proved in front of the world what they were in that time in that generation..

Tari Khan is spoiling the singing.And he is not having any eye contact with singer.he is getting in touch directly to audience.trying to show his skills and forgetting and ignoring the rules of accompaniment.he is playing tablah selfishly...To be honest he is not there to be a sangti...but to show his talent...he has gone for away from singing and the tune.his sangat is totally against the tune...sorry to say.

What about those born blind and they play tabla and other instruments they are Soo blessed that they have a big vision inside them to see so please correct your thoughts and with respect take your words back,Ustad Tari Khan sab is our legend Soo much respect for ustad in our heart and will stay always

@@zafarisraeel2202 yes,there will be lag in performance.once tari Khan was performing in UK.and the accompanist was blind and playing lehra on sarangi.Tari Khan was getting annoyed by his lay.ubsence of eye contact was disrupting the performance.at the Tari Khan said why this was happening... fortunately I witnessed that concert....
