Zakir Hussain is so much God gifted, once you start learning any instrument, you won't like unless Zakir is there. There are so many contemporary Tabla players during his prime time and with God blessings still there, but without Zkir you miss something is not to the level you are used to with Zakir

If we talk about pure classical and solo sarangi then Ustad-ji is the best. There are others who were outstanding sarangi accompanists of their eras like Pt. Ramesh Mishra, Pt. Ram Narayan, Ust. Sabri Khan, Ust. Munir Khan, Ust Sagiruddin Khan but Ustad Sultanji is a class apart when it comes to raagdari and pure khayal ang presentation in sarangi.

@@hrm9808 Gopal Mishra ji was a wonderful sarangi player and uncle of late Pandit Rajan Mishra ji. But you have to remember that they mostly come from the thumri style of presentation, which can be be very lilting, romantic and persuasive. However, when it comes to more meditative expressions, Sultan Khan sahab is unique and matchless.

Content is great. Recording quality bad. Very screechy sound hurts the ear n spoils the entire experience. But since Sultan Khan Saheb and Zakir Hussain are playing, one who knows is compelled to listen on. Hope it can be remastered for a better listening experience ❤️

جناب نهایت عالیقدر محترم آدینه صاحب بزرگوار احترامات صمیمانه بنده را پذیرا شده امیدوارم لباس صحت و عافیت برتن داشته باشید مدتها بود میخواستم از همکاری های هنری شما بزرگوار قدردانی نمایم ولی موفق نمیشدم تا اینکه سعادت نصیب ام شد جناب والا ویدیو کلپهای که در دسترس بیننده ها قرا میدهید یکی بر تر و بهتر از دیگر و باید متذکر شوم که یک گنجینیه نایاب هنری هست از شنیدن و دیدن آن نه تنها لذت میبرم بلکه بر اندوخته های هنری ام افزوده میگردد. چیری بس ارزنده و قابل یادآوری این است که شما نه تنها یک انسان هنر دوست هنرمند و موسیقدان هستید و با همه این صفات جناب شما یک انسان نیک صفت با خلوص نیت و سخاوتمند نیز هستید چرا مواد را که شما بدست نشر میسپارید اشخاص دیگری این کار را نکرده و نخواهند کرد هستند بعضی های که آرشیفهای موسیقی را در نزد خود نگهداری نموده ولی تنگ نظر و بد نیت هستند و خیر شان به کسی نمیرسد ولی ترس از این هم ندارند که وقتی در این جهان تشریف نداشته باشند آرشیف شان همراه شان انتقال خواهد کرد ولی جناب شما سخاوتمندانه همه را دردسترس علاقمندان هنر قرار میدهید یکیار دیگر جهان سپاس بی پایان از زحمات و فعالیتهای هنری شما بزرگمرد تاریخ کشور عزیز به وجود شما میبالم و از درباره ایزد منان طول عمر و خوشی دارین برای جناب شما متمنی ام با عرض حرمت دوستدار و ارادتمند شما؟

This is clearly an exceptional rendition of Raga Megh. The sound quality is so bad I have stopped it. Mic is too close. Gain too high. Treble too high. Reverb - really ??? What a shame.
