Actually and with all honesty, the Ustad sang it even better than Ahmad Zahir Jan. These gammaks and murkees he is producing are not easy and Ahmad Zahir could not execute them. It doesn’t mean Ahmad Zahir was not great. He was and still is great.

If I’m not mistaken, I think Mahboobulla pacha composed this song for Ahmad Zahir .... and ghulam Abbas khan has years and years of training so of course he will sing this song far better than Ahmad Zahir Jan from a technical standpoint but in my personal opinion Ahmad Zahir Jan had the most amazing God givin voice 1 in a billion

But I love when these highly educated Indian or Pakistani singers sing Farsi songs because they really show you how many different variations and things you can add to the original composition to add flavor
