2nd round is reissuing Cynus X1 in clear plastic to allow for lighting. I have the first issue in opaque silver. I went in a different direction for illumination. I used a neutral Glow in the Dark paint. Using existing pictures; I masked the areas which were never lit. When it dried I painted the steel grid work over the Glow sections. After it was done; the lights went out! A glowing ghost ship lit up the dark...

Great job I wish they would reaissue this kit also And add the missing section to make the ship longer plus make it in clear plastic

Thank you for sharing this great model, Nexux6! Just imagine if Bandai or Round2 made a new tool kit of this, or at the very least reissued this one.

Thank you for sharing that great construction with us! :-) Since you did this model, could you please tell me how long is it exactly? I mean, a little more precision than the "over 2ft long" would be MUCH appreciated!

Great job with what you have to work with. This kit would be better served molded in clear plastic.

I had this kit myself. It was mostly moulded in solid gray. I think the top of the control tower and the dome over the greenhouse were moulded in clear plastic. I agree it would have been better if the main body were moulded in either transparent or translucent orange. The grid work could have been moulded in black. Or paint the grid structure onto the translucent pieces although that would have been very tedious. I didn't remember the Palomino being so big in comparison. Looks like the builder has the probe ship taking off wight a light to represent its thruster. Very nice. As a kid I did not have the patience or skill to make my kit look this cool when assembled.
