Each year the School of Law and Justice at the University of Southern Queensland hosts a moot competition for secondary schools in the Darling Downs, Lockyer, Ipswich and Springfield regions. This free competition broadens the knowledge and experience of law for Year 11 and 12 secondary students through close analysis and argument of a legal problem. Competitors will gain valuable and fun practical experience in a law court environment and a better understanding of how the law functions.
