He is our own… He is one of our own.
Rooting for you Musah, you got the talent
We love you Yunus!!! It means so much to have a Muslim-American on this team. This celebration of diversity on this team is what makes our country the greatest.

He's not American. He's from Ghana but obviously with his upbringing has a British accent. Played for England at all ages until a few years ago and chose America because it would be easier to get into the team. It was best for his development as a professional because England have a far greater pool of players to choose from.
We’re rooting for you Yunus!
ONE OF US! ONE OF US
We’re seriously lucky to have this guy. He’s an engine in the midfield and he’s gonna be a big part of our success. Can’t wait to see him develop
Every USMNT fan loves Musah. Make us proud Musah!!!
Nothing typifies to be American than the story of Yunus. Great young man, great talent, and has so much more potential to reach. You, Yunus, are American, and we are proud to have you represent us in Qatar. ☺️❤️⚽️🇺🇸

Nothing typifies an American like being born in the US by chance and then living in Europe your whole life?
@GoZags43

@@rq7284 Yunus did more to unite Americans and bring joy to our country in his first minute on the pitch in Qatar than you will ever do. I’d say his dedication to the USMNT makes him a pretty damn fine American. He actually CHOSE America over other serious options while you were simply born here.

@@GoZags43 Yunus is obviously a more important and better person than me. But he's never spent any time in America. He's ethnically Ghanaian, raised in Italy as a child and then England. We are just straight up lucky he chose the US, because he had absolutely no reason to do so. He's a Ghanaian boy raised in Europe, of any nation he was eligible for US was the one he had the least relationship with.

@@kickdrugskinda wish all of the us players were born and raised here in the US. I feel like some players are only here to play for a national team and to play in a World Cup. They don’t feel the badge and culture. That’s just my opinion though. I want them to be American through and through.

Could've played for England with head held high but USA believed in you more, earlier, needed your more and you chose us!. Carry that ball in midfield with strength, speed , skill and cunning young man!
What a nice and squared away kid. I just want him to thrive and excel in the game.

So was it God's plan to pass to Pulisic so he could hit the crossbar against England or was it God's plan to one-time half-volley the ball into the back of the net and win 3 points against the English?
