He sure has the roots to be as long as he's healthy. He'll have that support system all the way through the career but it's just me tho I'd prefer him to have a high ceiling for a while....

@@christiancole5284 Gio has another brother Joah, currently 15 and at the Austin FC academy. Some people say he looks better than Gio did at that age but with young players you never know.

Gio just needs to continue to grow and work on his health along with conditioning. Everything else will take care of itself. This kid has it in his blood.

@@TepesEdi here after it was released that Jordan Morrison was proffered over him Aaron Long tells him to straighten up in training, then the manager decides after playing him 5 minutes in the group stage to substitute him on at Halftime 2-0 down to the Dutch for starter Jesus Ferreria. One. Big. Mistake.

For me him or Aaronson are the two highest quality American players. I think he needs to move to a bigger club and take his game to the next level. There must be something in the English water because both he and Haaland were born in England.

Him and Musah are the most polished ngl. Aaronson is still very raw but has tremendous potential.

I'm glad they didn't hold up a picture of his older (now deceased) brother who died of cancer! I would have been a wreck/in tears!
