What about WFME policy on FMGs by 2024.I've found it confusing. Is it going to affect an FMG whose accredating agency isn’t recognised by WFME by the start of 2024. TIA.

Most of our medical colleges are recognized by WFME so it should not be a problem to begin with.

@@sarwarhossain3011 as you have noticed , আমি সবসময়ই বলি , রেসিডেন্সি পাওয়া কোনো ইজি বিষয় না, whole world এর বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে ছেলেমেয়েরা এটার জন্য চেস্টা করছে , it is the most competitive and most desirable position amongst the doctors of the whole world and it always have been. সো এখন বা তখন যে সময় এর কথাই বলুন না কেন , এটা কঠিন সন্দেহ নেই , কিন্ত অসম্ভব না। exam score ভালো না হলে, old graduate হলে , একবারে সব পরীক্ষা পাশ না করলে রেসিডেন্সি নাও হতে পারে। তাই সঠিকভাবে সবকিছু করা খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। সব কিছু সঠিকভাবে করলে রেসিডেন্সি পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা অনেক বেশী

New law of WFME got in action that any country without recognised agency by WFME wont be sitting for the USMLE exams. Bangladesh medical council is not even applying for the agency recognition. What to do to press these medical board scums to apply for the certification? Even Sri Lanka is applying.

Can a MBBS graduate (Year 2023) from Popular Medical College apply for USMLE in 2024? I found the WFME law very confusing.

search.wdoms.org/ I see it is recognized by WFME , anyone can go to the directory and find whether their medical college is recognized or not. Most of the Bangladeshi medical colleges are recognized.

Hi , thanks for the comment but my target viewers are Bangladeshi students; so currently I do not have a plan; but I will think about it

যারা যারা ডাক্তার হতে আমেরিকায় আসতে চান তারা MBBS পাশ করার পরে তিন বছরের মধ্যে USMLE complete করে আসবেন। এখন Step 1 এ score দেখে না। Step 2 তে score ভালো করবেন। USMLE exam এ কোনো fail/attempt থাকবে না।
