USMC LAV-ATWS (Anti-Tank Weapon system) Light Armored Vehicle: TOW Missile Live-fire

U.S. Marines with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion execute live-fire event in order to increase proficiency with the new Light Armored Vehicle Anti-Tank (LAV-AT) weapon system at Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 10, 2018.
The ATWS fires tube-launched, optically-tracked, wire-guided, or TOW, missiles. It provides long-range, stand-off anti-armor fire support to maneuvering Light Armored Reconnaissance Companies and platoons, and observation capability in all climates and during periods of limited visibility.

    Would have been more realistic training to fire from the other side of the road with some cover. I doubt anyone is going to want to sit on that high road and go head to head with a MBT.
