Using the Ryobi Battery Powered Walk Behind Push Mower

This mower is light enough to push with ease across and up and down the slight incline in my yard. The mulching function works even after a sprinkling of light rain. Alternatively, the side discharge chute is available. The large 40 Volt, 6 Amp hour battery takes a while to charge and delivers sufficient power and run time to cut my yard. Handily, the charger includes full battery analysis.
The mower starts easily and stops almost instantly once the control lever is released. Safety wise the bright red mower key is essential for operation and it comes with a loop for attaching a lanyard. Prior to use the two stage handle needs to be fixed in place with the four large plastic knobs and the battery charged. That's it! The mower is pretty well put together and feels solid and reliable. The height adjustment goes from close cropped to coping with moderately long, dry grass. Find on the Home Depot website by searching for this unique reference number, 324068457.

People want 80 volt mower but rather happy with my 40 volt. I dont have one you have but loves it. Far better than last two older models i had that struggled with my lawn

Great comment, Daniel. Battery mower technology is way ahead of when I first got one as well - ten years ago - in fact I was surprised at just how good this little mower is.

@@PicRic I was about to give up on it as my first two mowers didn't cut it and batteries wouldn't last mowing at least one of my two lawns. I had to have 3-4 batteries to do front and back lawn. I gave it one more chance and I'm happy now with mower I got from Ryobi at home Depot that now three years running with little issue. Sure the larger batteries are bit pricey but they last longer when mowing

It considered cheating on my mower when I look at other ones lol jk brother made funny comment when window shopping other mowers when went shopping home depot and Lowes the other day Though forgot how terrible customer service is at Lowe's in our town is
