Using the ESP-Now Protocol to Create a Dynamic ESP32 Wireless Network P3

Ғылым және технология

In this three part series we will design a dynamic wireless network using ESP32 modules and leveraging EXPRESSIF's ESP-NOW communication protocol. In part 3 we demonstrate and review the code for our fully implemented dynamic wireless network using the ESP-NOW communication protocol.

Whoa.. a bit too much for the two way application I have in mind for now.. Thanks for the detailed explanation of your network.

Great set of videos thanks... I have joined your group, but have a strange thin happening. when I enter a MAC such as "3C:71:BF:88:CC:64 " What get displayed as hex is "5C 71 DF 88 EC 64" ^ ^ ^ "3C:71:BF:88:CC:64 " Of the 6 ESP32s I have tried to program only one and the Primary has had the correct MAC displayed. I am a noob at this and am totally confused. Your help greatly appreciated...

Hello and thanks for supporting ForceTronics. Unfortunately it is not easy to troubleshoot your issue when I don't have access to your setup. Especially when it seems to work for some nodes and not others. Make sure you are either entering the MAC addresses manually or cut/paste from a text document (MS notepad). Do not use something like Word or Excel because they can add hidden characters to the MAC address string. Another thing you can try is adjusting the master code so that the node MAC addresses are hard coded in the sketch. If that works then you know your issue is somewhere in the work flow where you are entering the MAC addresses in the serial monitor.

Great project, thanks! I'm going to be collecting data from multiple esp32 sensors on the ESP-NOW infrastructure. Since, I need the data to be tightly time funded, I'm thinking that having a real time clock for each esp32/sensor mode would be the best way ... But would appreciate your thoughts on this from practical experience.

Good tutorial man. But we need a pairing button as to pair them easily. Using serial is not practical if we want to add new pairs
