I called Schluter about this. Technical assistance told me tha 1 G ohm is a good reading. 1 G ohm = 1000 M ohms. You can write 1G or 1000M on the form.

For gigaohms it kept repeating the test and pausing at 1 gigaohms, which is good, that's the number you want

Instructions were garbage and company was non-responsive. Bought another meter that gave me the number I needed and the floor has been working flawlessly for a couple of years now. The meter has been sitting on the shelf ever since. I don't want to throw it out since it's new and partially works but it didn't do what I needed and I have another meter that gave me a number.

Something similair appear with my ohmmeter device. since you found explaination?

The place I bought it from says that is the way it's supposed to work. I gave up on it and bought another one from a different brand. My floor is in and the heat works great. Sometimes buying on line doesn't work out, but it usually does and I can't buy any of this stuff locally so I will continue buying on line and taking my chances. I'll have a video posted of my finished bathroom soon--It's really amazing and worth all the trouble.

1 means 1 gigaohm which is what you want to see on a working cable.

The insulation tester works fine, the number you need is >200Gohm, which is a high insulation value. The tester read up to 200Gohm.

@@jaimehuaynate7817 Maybe it does work fine but the one I bought to replace it gave me a number I could use.

גם אני קניתי את המגר הזה והוא לא תקין.לדוגמא בקצר מלא בין 2 הפרובים התוצאה אמורה להיות התנגדות 0 אבל בפועל התצוגה משתנה עד לקבלת ערך 1 משמעותו התנגדות באינסוף.ממולץ בחום לא לקנות.עכשיו אני בהתנהלות דין ודברים מול אמזון שטוענים שהייתה אפשרות החלפה עד שבועיים. והפנו אותי לספק בארה"ב וביקשו גם סרטון.לציין כי לא השתמשתי בכלל במגר הזה והוא חדש אך לא תקין.עבודה בעניים לא לקנות,חבל על הכסף.

Buying on the internet is a crap shoot every time.Where I live in North Carolina things like this are not available local. When they are its usualy 3 to 5 times the price and the local merchants rarely stand behind their products. Some of them do and I try to support them even with the exorbitant prices. Amazon will usually take their junk back but not always. I just bought a rolling garden seat and it started coming apart at the seams after the first use.
