Greg, Thanks! I don't own a spoon but I do have a scrap bin, as Farm kids learn to never throw away anything. So most likely, between the torch, sawsall and bench vise & angle grinder, I will give myself new tools. Dress them, smooth and polish as even undercoat Will telegraph thru the extra thick, wait. What? I meant thin metal on new vehicles will come in handy. I spent $25 dollars at a commercial auction on pattern cabinets that no one wanted. 4" tall drawers, 38" wide and was 44" tall with metal wheels. I scuffed, cleaned and took 3 reds & matched a SnapOn Red. I had a place for my extra stuff. I have made tools before and if use 2-5 times, paid for themselves, but a flapper wheel helps put a smooth finish on the spoons. Great info. Thanks! DK, Omaha.

We found the fender tool Porter Ferguson A34 (6:08) at a Habitat for Humanity store in Bremerton, Wa. today. It was too cool for my wife to resist. She bought it. We are going to use it somehow. We are thrilled to have found your video and learned what it is used for. I think a few of them would come in handy on remodeling projects.

That was a good find. Some of these old tools can have a lot of different uses other than their intended use. I appreciate you watching and for your comment

Awesome. many of these spoons are mainly used in the PDR industry in the middle east. I have seen many body shops using them.

@@autobodytrainingsolutions838 using these tools seems to be a lost art, everyone replaces panels imo

@@rcs0296 You are right Richard but it seems that over the years these cars are more difficult to repair so replacing panels is easier and cheaper so that in turn makes the use of a lot of body tools obsolete
