Very cool idea! After the silk is dyed with the ties, do you rinse or wash the scarf? How do you launder the silk after that?

I habe alot is my sweet husband's ties and i just didn't want to give them away so thank you so much for the wonderful idea. I think I'll make the scarves. One for his daughter, one for my daughter and the other for myself. 👍what is the vinegar for. Is it in the water

Silk ties usually have a small label at the inside bottom of the tie.

Do you have any ideas or projects for reusing silk ties?
