USING SCRAPS TO MAKE CARD EMBELLISHMENTS | PAPER CRAFTS

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here's an excellent idea for turning your scraps of paper into embellishments to add to cards, mini albums, gift tags, scrapbooks and more. I didn't intend for this to be a long video, but I had so much fun making these and I wanted to share. Thanks so much in advance for watching. I appreciate your continued support! HAPPY CRAFTING!!!

Yeah , the only thing I learn from people that scream is how far away from them I want to get. You are so laid back it is pleasant to watch you for hours. Waaaay better than watching the news. I turned off my TV three years ago. I do not miss it. And I get a lot of crafting done.

Your videos are perfect. No background music, no rush, smooth and relaxed voice. And the longer your videos, the better. I normally light a scented candle, no music, only silence. Complete calm. My space, my world

LOL That's funny that you mentioned people liking your calm voice. I have the patience of a gnat and rarely ever watch a video longer than six minutes, but here I am, half way through your video and still enjoying it! I love the calmness, your soothing voice, and just watching you taking your time while creating. Everyone always seems to be in such a hurry when they make things. One thing I really loved was when you accidently marked on your cut out, and instead of getting upset, you just turned it over and stamped on the other side! LOL That was awesome. Not even one cuss word! XD

I love that you show great ways to use scraps. I struggle with them. What I love even more is that you keep reminding us to enjoy the process. That’s the best part for me. Most crafters are fast, to the point and crank out tons. My favorite part of crafting is enjoying it, savoring the process too. Thanks so much for reminding of why I do it.

So beautiful I was about to begin making some cards two days ago from all the small paper stash we end up with, and I just don’t throw them away I use every single bit....guess what? Yesterday while waiting for mom at the dentist I decided to walk around and ended up in a kiosk that’s been in that mall for years and ended up talking to the owner quite some time and ended up showing her the mini books and mini junk journals I make, cards, and other crafts and she asked me, “why don’t you make & pack some cards and other of your crafts and I’ll sell them here for you?” So this weekend I’ll be making some and let her sell them for me🌸I’m so happy about it🌸. Thanks for your sharing your video you gave more ideas‼️

Hi ... love this idea of using up scraps, Thank you for sharing this with us, guess I won't be throwing so many bits out now! lol! It will be so handy to have ready made elements to hand! Can I just give you a little tip, with regards to running a pen around the edges, I found doing it the way you did, I always, but ALWAYS slip and mark the sentiment or whatever I am edging, so ..... I now do it from the back instead so any slips won't be showing on the front .... no extra work to do! Works a treat! :) Thanks again for your always very helpful videos ... I always enjoy them! Hugs, Karen xx

Once again, thank you for a great video with great ideas. I don't do anything special when I am crafting. I usually have the TV on mostly for company. But I have had music on or Christian talk radio, too. The comment on one of the card embellishments said "Love one another". You said we all need to be reminded of that these days. That is so true. I thought that if more people did crafting...especially paper crafting, they wouldn't have time to do some of the things happening these days, and they would have more fun doing it and have better results to show for it, too. Thank you for sharing your time with us.

I so love your video, I have so much scrap scrapbook papers, card stock etc. I dont have scallop sissors but im gonna get some for sure. I just bought a label maker yesterday at Walmart When I craft, usually I just have the T.V. on in the background for a little noise. LOL!!! Have a Great Day and God Bless you and your Family!!!

I really like this video. Yes I love the calmness of your voice. Right now I craft in complete quiet. I have in the past, I would have a crafting KZread video playing on my tablet, right on my desk.
