It's funny as someone who loves Kentucky. It wasn't a break action rifle. It had its own screw on cap to seal the chamber. Seriously the most sketchy thing I've ever seen.

@@johnnybravo2873 super weird rifle design. Its sort of a break action but like you said the breach cap screws on and then that snaps into the metal blades on the back of the lower. Thing sheared those clean off. Sketchy design and unbelievable level of failure

​@@johnnybravo2873 Not sketchy at all. That's mechanically stronger then most alternative designs using a rotating bolt and locking lugs (if designed properly). Threads are how the barrel is held into the receiver of most single shot firearms.

@@bloodlinefilms that design and the materials used are rated to handle more than twice the maximum pressure generated by factory production .50 cal. ammunition. The black market ammo with unknown production quality that he used was most definitely the cause of the incident. If you really watched KB you should remember that since the designer of the firearm in question and Kentucky explained the situation throughly in numerous videos.

They were SLAP rounds and Kentucky Ballistics got a sketchy one that very nearly killed him. I’m surprised Kyle never saw that vid. He must not follow the gun vids anymore

No he duplicated what happened with a 50bmg cartridge loaded to over 350,000 psi over SAMI specifications, and thats what blew up the rifle. NO rifle made could withstand that pressure.

These are made for 180 pound machine guns (including the mount)

People have a hard time zeroing because cheap scopes have poor tracking (if it says it moves X amount at X distance it doesn’t actually do that) and a lot of time cheap scopes and even some quality optics have the adjustments printed opposite of what is typical. Usually you can treat the adjustments in a scope as “moving the point of impact” so if I hit high I adjust the scope in the down direction which actually moves the crosshair up so that you aim lower. A cheaper scope has the adjustments so that turning the dial down literally moves the crosshair down not “moving the point of impact”

One of the perks of my career is I get to play with a lot of pre-86 sheen guns. Never gets old. 😂 If anybody is wondering, Kyle is talking about a Lage MFG Upper for a Mac 10 Transferable MG. They have 5.56 uppers and more that work with your base .45 M10 Lower.

Il guessing the polymer suppressor is more intented for liberator pistol type use where its just a means to get rifle from the person you shoot

As one who lives in israel, we do smoke seshes when under rocket fire. I'll never forget smoking a fattie while hearing mortars whoosh overhead all the while a father and his kid are strolling down the road like a regular Tuesday. And to see the iron dome in action while zoinked is one of the things to do in life. Ps, the US has a multilayer ballistic missile defence called the nuclear umbrella

I've seen a handful (mainly .22) of bullets leave the barrel and contact the target. If you really focus on a really sunny day you can pick up more than the vapor trail at roughly 100 meters, doubt any farther than that through. Hard to explain but you want to sort of look past the bullet while still tracking it. Thought I was nuts the first time but a guy at the range saw it too.
