Using our Seadoo 300s as ice breakers. A Karen calls the cops and Ryan falls in the freezing water.

A January Polar vortex in the Chesapeake bay won’t stop us from going for a ride on our Seadoo RXPX 300s but some Karen still calls the cops and then Ryan runs out of talent and goes swimming in the freezing water after hitting a submerged piece of ice at 50mph. Thankfully I was able to save his life.

Man just hearing him trying to take a breath was painful, I know exactly how he feels. Where I live we have this charity event where people jump into the river during winter and each one that does it someone donates $20 all of which went to Saint Jude childrens hospital, I did it one year and when I hit the water it felt like all the air got sucked out of my chest and I couldn’t take barley take a breath. Lucky we were just off the bank but I immediately thought of the titanic and all the people that died in the freezing water and how horrible that must have been.

Hah! My buddies and I did this with a canoe and a 7.5 gamefisher outboard. Unfortunately, we made the unwise decision of having a third person in a lawn chair. It was sketchy so we came back to dock but glanced off a substantially thicker piece of ice stretching out from someone's dock and went for a swim. Thankfully it was just a 30ft wide canal and not out in Huron, but it wasn't fun once we did an impromptu ice bucket challenge. That water sucks the wind right out of ya!

Its when the cold water hits your larex u die from dry drowning, now that can still happen with a wetsuit if you dont know to hold your breath when u hit the water but its the involuntary breath of air that comes with the cold shock in this case that will cause you to inhale the water.
