G'day everyone, I hope you're all doing good. I've been hard at work adding new gameplay content to the game. This video shows some of the new spells and enemies ive added to the game. The new spells and enemies really lean into the voxel simulation and I feel like they can create some really cool emergent gameplay possibilities.
I hope you liked the video and a big thank you for 3000 subscribers that’s awesome!!

I just wanted to take a moment to say how impressed I am with your voxel game. The level of detail and immersion is simply stunning. The game is so well-crafted that it feels like you’re actually in the world, not just playing a game. I especially love the way you've incorporated physics into the game. Everything feels so real, from the way the blocks interact with each other to the way the characters move. It really adds to the immersion factor. I'm also a big fan of the game's art style. It's simple but effective, and it really helps to create a sense of atmosphere. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with your voxel game. It's a truly special experience, and I can't wait to see what you do next. Thank you for creating such an amazing game.

My question is can you build, now THAT will draw in attention, and have a bit more NPCs than just monsters, like animals or other human like NPCs or add multi-player to fill the whole of being alone. Having more animations than just a handful will give more immersion because I'm not seeing the same animation in different patterns over and over again, having more will give a bigger feel that it's alive. Love The Staff! Reminds me of the Sorceress's staff from Spyro 3, also love the levitation it does too, when multi-player comes out that's gonna lead to some FUN shenanigans, also I would like to add that a skill system would be nice too, like you need to be a higher level in magic in order to lift up a certain level and below of players, creatures, objects, like you need to be level 20 to lift up a player with heavy armour and a bolder the size of a living room.
damn this game is coming together! cant wait to play it sometime

This exploration etc of a ruined world looks really great. Love it!
Looks wonderful! I look forward to seeing where you'll take the gameplay loop.
This really looks amazing. Levitate beam has to be my favorite spell you have added, as it cool and has applications outside of combat. Would be cool if you could simply drop stuff as well as hurling it, as that could help make it useful for grabbing stuff from long range.

Love this, it reminds me of codespells and noita the way it can alter the environment.
Very nice! I feel like if the enemies were dynamically destructible instead of having a single healthbar they would fit into the game extra well
I swear I'm gonna yell this, but VR! WE NEED THIS IN VR! please please please, a game like this would be out of this world!
The levitation mechanic! The powering up the spell before it fires! It’s all so well made!
This looks awesome ! Have you ever played Noita by any chance ? The environmental interactions remind me a lot of the ones in Noita
Looks awesome as always but it made me realize something. The grass is way to high for this kind of gameplay because the enemies are almost always covered by it and you would always want to see them clearly. It feels like the grass is sometimes touching your chin and I would expect it to be knee-high at most. I get that you are working with voxels and that this is quite limiting in a lot of ways, but I think if you cut down the grass you could even increase the number of grassblades and it would not just increase visibility, it would probably look a bit better as well.

Wow, just wow. I absolutely love the direction your going with this. I don't know what your production plan or capabilities are, but I would love to see the enemies be more animated in their response to attacks as well, but watching the floor react to the spell you cast was awesome! Its the kind of thing "Clone Drone in the Danger Zone" did with its voxel system, but here the voxel world looks so much better! I wish you fortune as you figure out how best to produce your game!
Looks pretty cool, as always. Could give the text a bit of a shadow/outline in a darker color to make it easily readable against bright backgrounds
man this looks so cool, if i could i would ask to be a beta tester, cant wait to try it when its out
This game just gets better every day, cant wait to play it! It looks like magic is going to be very powerfull. So a quick sugestion to keep the game challenging would be to slow down mana regeneration. That way the players would have to bring mana potions on their adventures. Also, if you havent done it already, make the runes for the top tier spells a little bit hard to find
I love this game.
Light emitting spell fx would be a +
Local man gets tired of waiting, makes Hytale himself
Love the animations and effects :)
Said it many times and I will say it again, this game looks absolutely amazing! Really excited for it to come out, but take your time to make it even better! :D Also, very quick question, will the game in any way be multiplayer in the plans (i understand that it would probably be hard to add) because it would be fun to fight demons with spells in a ruined castle or something with friends!

@@Tooley1998 Honestly, perfectly understandable. Just do what you're doing and I think this can turn out amazing. (also, i especially love the graphics and enemy design!)
A fun spell idea would be being able to use the ruble as a shield (or wall) for protection against arrows, and when you are safe, launching it to your enemies!
this gives me "noita, but 3d vibes" wich is a compliment. I love noita afterall :D
New enemy's look really cool and they work with the older ones really nicely, Love how the spells all have different visual effects when using them really creates a great viewing experience. Keep up the great work! 👍
This is cube world meets minecraft. I love it!
I'm so excited to play this game
oh this is FUN!! I love the idea of destroying the terrain around you to use as weapons, I know I would try to set up fun trickshots
small tip, try to make equipment little bit thicker. that magic rod for example have just 1x1 wide handle. try to increase it to 2x2 atleast. then you could put little bit more of details into your items and they will look better... anyway, keep up the good work :p

This looks amazing! I love how powerful that beam spell feels, though the feedback from the levitation seems a bit lacking for now. Maybe you could make the stones feel a bit weightier, both in how they move and how the enemies react to being hit? Anyways, great work as always!
This IS crazy man I'm So Hypped i love the voxels it's impressive !
Hey dude nice game! Just a tip, i suggest you add a contrast green/more colors for the tree leaves so they wont blend with the ground at all times.
This is the kind of engine I would pay an extraordinary amount of money to use if I was big into making games
Wow the spiders cobweb spit is very nice
one day, when this game is really fleshed out, imagine making it vr
Love the way the game looks. Did you take inspiration from Noita (albeit that that's a 2D game)? In that game every pixel is simulated too. I was thinking it'd be really cool to get a spell system similar to that of Noita, where you can customize your own wands and add spells/modifiers to the player's liking.
This Is My Favourite Game, i can't wait!!
this game looks insane, this deserves so much more attention
I like how the wand has an octarine gem
Omg!!! It's so epic and smooth!! 😮 AMAZING GAME

Just found this series, it's awesome! The game has so much potential. I hope more people can find this. Are you using a game engine?
Have found your old video and checked the channel. Glad to see you still doing great. Mechanics, visual style and colours look just like what I love. Even jealous as I want to make my project at least as good as this one. Though why floor not burning in huge flame after some time but stops smolder? And would you mind if I ask you to share sources what can I read\watch about voxel generated world and destruction like in your project? There are different approaches but none of them looks like your gorgeous one.
You should definitely have some kind of movement spells. like from a basic dash and double just to see through portals. something along those lines would be very cool

this actually looks amazing. Will you be able to build too? Will there be multi player support eventually? Very neat.

not sure how you would do it but ragdoll physics would be nice :)
Looks awesome. Please don't add weapon/armor degradation
Voxel Skyrim 🤯 or : The elder scrolls voxels

Please release this in some kind of early access form! Maybe itch? This is the kind of game that would be great to play and watch it grow just like the early days of Minecraft
A spellbook or a grimoare you should ad this 😊
seems an interesting game
if teardown and minecraft had a baby:
Currently making a procedurally generated infinite world game that's similar but with a little bigger blocks and its vr with guns, enemies, animals, ores different biomes, tools, building, and more just need to know how to make swimming animations tbh
modded minecraft vibes
You should make a discord! It would sure make it alot easier to keep track of the game and also suggest new things

Will all spells be predetermined, or will the player be able to find/craft slight variants or even mix and match functionalities? An example for mix n match or craft would be charge + explosion bolt + telekinesis would charge the wand, fire a huge bolt which explodes on contact, then grabs all debris to be thrown at enemies I've been playing a lot of noita so I love tinkering with spell combinations, though I can understand if this doesn't fit the scope or vision of this game
I think how you articulate your magic system is important. The function of your system can be as basic as they come, like you just have spells that you can use to do things, for example. But its how you articulate that function that really matters. Having the spells cast via just a regular wand doesnt make the game stand out or feel as though it has an identity of its own. It just feels like "Generic fantasy game but voxel". Look at how you did that enemy with the dripping lava chest for example. THATS good articulation. Imagine if it was just a wizard with a staff shooting fireballs. Same function, but instantly less interesting. Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom is a good example of Articulation done well. The arm you have is the EXACT same function as a spell casting wand in any other game. Links abilities arn't something you've never seen in a game before, but because of how its articulated, it FEELS new, it feels different and special, and it has it's own identity. It's your game, so idk how you would decide to go about articulating your function, but if you were to ask me, I would say look into what these creatures are, why are they the way they are? what are they? How do THEY work? This will give you a small amount of world building that you can work off of to get a better idea of how to articulate your function of "magic". If it were me, I would maybe make the wand something made from the core of those creatures, maybe a lantern containing the smoldering embers of the creature, or a necklace with a gem fashioned from the core, hanging from a spooky decrepit hand, signifying that wielding it has made your characters arm something like the creatures themselves. This could also be used for gameplay elements aswell, perhaps gaining new spells involves killing unique monsters and taking their cores. But sorry, thats just the writer and world builder in me. But trust me, I went to school for this. This is the exact element you're missing that turns good games into GREAT games.
are you working on this full time or is it just a hobby? i will hopefully buy it when it releases.
