I am what is considered an ambulatory wheelchair user which means I can walk. Typically when just simply standing up my heart rate is 112 - 159 bpm. This is the same heart rate you might have when running or swimming laps in a pool. It's exhausting especially during summer months. So I use a wheelchair now and then!
