This is a terrific step up from what I have been doing, making my fabrics from scraps, and I really like the effect using the patterned fabric for the background! This was very interesting and the final projects turned out great. She really stretched that one piece and got so many 'products' out of the result. Also I had never heard of Solvy before, how cool!

I've seen so many videos of these scrappy-squares, but yours is by far the best. I love your color selection and extra embellishments! I used to do this about 15 years ago with tulle or paper on top and will do some more now the solvi is available. Thank you for showing us this producy

I still use tulle when using this technique with a felting machine but the water soluble stabilisers make a vast difference.

What an incredible idea! After watching this I went over to my trash bin by my cutting table and pulled out all the scraps! When you added the printed sentiments, that when it popped in my mind! I'm thinking journal covers! Thank you so much for sharing! Really really cool! :)

Love the idea of being able to sew in all directions. I'm new to having and using a sewing machine. Going to make sure i save all my little scraps as there seems to be many ways to use them up

Thanks. I found this video very helpfull. I had never tried free motion quilting before. I made some mistakes, but I was able to fix them in some way. Never used sulvy before either. Lol
