Is there a way to do the opposite? If I know the area I am concerned with is .45 of the total, how can I get Excel to tell me the associated z-value is 1.645?

I think it has something to do with the NORMSINV function. looking around right now to see if I can do anything with that

So how do I get z without looking at a table?

I would like to find out how to work it out back using excel. Let us say I have the value of normsdist and I would like to know the value
