Just curious. Are you going down the fractal for compressing data for LiouvilleDMD or something, or are we talking some magical kernel compression with fractals to do larger scale analysis? I do not maths.

Haha! Not quite anything that crazy going on yet at least. I have been lightly reading through fractal approximation papers but nothing serious. I do have some interesting results expanding and generalizing our work on DMD coming down the pipeline, though!

I’m glad you like my work! I’m coming back; it’s just been a busy summer. 3 students of mine defended their PhD dissertations, I was on travel for conferences and talks most of June, I’m applying for tenure, I am writing 2 or 3 grants applications. All of that has taken priority. :)
