I tried this method the other day and COULD NOT get the nail cover off lol. Ended up having to convert to the “lazy girl method”.. still turned out cute. You explained what I likely did wrong in this video. I still did good for my first time

I didn't even know it was possible to use hard gel with dual forms until I saw you do it. Now I have some gorgeous Modern Almond shaped dual forms heading my way to try out with my hard gel. Can't wait until they get here! And I personally like the slimmer free edge. Reminds me of the shape Dorota Palicka gets on her nails 😍

I agree it’s a bit runny would be good for infills though! I loved the color! The pop off was too satisfying!🤗🤗🤗

love this method the little lip around the nail is just overflow that was on the edges of the nail when you cured it happens to me all the time if you look its the actual width/depth of the actual tips youve used fyi i use resin all the time too and same thing happens

I was thinking about doing this but I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to get the full cover nails off and then I'd be filing for 10 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I like how narrow they are!! I do the same thing. Smoosh the cuticle area in hops to get the tips to fit my thumb. I have a huge apex that uses up all the room in the tip. Yes they would look nice shorter but I really like how narrow they are

Make sure you use cheaper plastic tips because if you use gel tips they won't come off 😉

I know! It's so annoying surely they'd all know by now we need a size bigger or even 2 sizes bigger for some people 🙄 I think one size bigger would be perfect for me, flattening it like I did does give you an extra 1mm or so at each side xx

Use cheap plastic tips hun, don't use gel tips or they won't come off, 30 secs in the lamp xx

You can also try applying the thinnest possible layer of cuticle oil on the nail tips before putting in the gel. That way the gel gets shaped but has no contact with the plastic so it won't stick.

Forgot to mention that Born Pretty peel off gives heat spikes, you have to go in & out the lamp for a few seconds don't you!

is base coat necessary ? i mean i don't have one and also don't have any money to buy it

Yes it does as long as you use plastic tips not gel tips, cure for half then pop them off xx
