Johanna, thank you for sharing your ideas and your memory keeping. You are a true inspiration. I discovered your channel a number of years ago, when I was looking for some paper crafting information, and you are one of the few people I found who do what you do, possibly the only one. My goals are to preserve memories and scrapbook/journal using my own memorabilia (mostly paper, some fabric like doilies, handkerchiefs & things with hand sewn embroidery done by family) as ephemera, and your videos have been incredibly helpful. I am a saver and a collector of memories too, and I just wanted to thank you for demonstrating ways to preserve memories and create beautiful treasures using personal memorabilia, photos, journaling, etc. I had the saving of stuff down pat, and I had photos, cards, and all kinds of things I’ve collected with intention; however, it was the process I was missing. Thank you for your beautiful channel.

I use an opened out envelope as a stencil to make my own with pretty paper. I'm new to junk journaling so helpful.

I love to take an envelope and add to my journal. I draw and color mandalas on the front. I then hand write a quote or saying on the flap. Then put on the edge. So the flap makes a tuck spot on the next page.

Thank you for providing so many creative ideas! I see so many tutorials on how to make envelopes and pockets, but then I never know how to incorporate them into my junk journal. This is just the video I was looking for.

In this digital age I’m glad you appreciate another’s handwriting. So many don’t any more.

What a clear and concise video. I appreciate that you moved quickly through all of the instructions and demonstrations. The diagrams page at the end is also very handy. Thank you for that! Since envelope material is somewhat sturdy, you can use them as the actual pages in a homemade journal; washi tape or more sturdy packing tape is good to attach them to each other.

It's just that your videos give me soooo much inspiration , you use everything around you in such a gorgeous way! Thank you soooo much❤️

A great presentation that pulls together so many different options! Makes the choices much less confusing! Now can plan out my next junk journal instead of just throwing together a lot of stuff.

Wow. A huge light bulb moment has come on in my brain!! Johanna i have a large collection of all types of envelopes and have not utilised many of them. Your great ideas have got me excited. Have already this minute put a fave family photo in a CD envelope. Perfect.😊😊 Currently i am compiling a "through the years" family Christmas journal and i plan to use some Xmas card envelopes that i have saved. They have Christmas postage stamps and other stickers on them and of course the personal handwriting. Thankyou.

I feel sometimes when I only have a short amount of journalling that it gets lost on a busy spread. So tags tucked into those small coin envelopes are a favourite of mine.

If you want to cut only the top layer of an envelope you could also slip something between the two sides of the envelope and cut it with a exacto knife
