Using Dowsing Rods to Locate Water Before Digging a Well - The Lost Ways - Divining Rods

The Lost Ways. Watch how the Well Whisperer used Dowsing Rods to locate underground water before digging our well. This SAVES MONEY $$$. Then watch as he digs our well on the homestead. They are also known as divining rods BTW. Divining Rods 101.

Thank you for this video.. I come from a family line of dowsers..on my Scandinavian side. My great great granddaddy, my great uncle his son and me. My daddy never believed until he had my great uncle up on his property and had him dowse for water on 5 acres..and without telling me he had uncle Walstrom there to map out the water..later on, my daddy had me do the same without either Uncle Walstrom or me knowing the other found the same water aquifer! He told me after I was done that my uncle and I drew identical hand drawn maps of the underground water...same direction, same depths and all..I was amazed because I never knew my uncle Jack was a water witcher and my daddy became a believer that day! We learned it was the Norway springs aquifer that stretched into caverns under my daddy’s plot of land!

It works. We used to find septic tanks that were too deep to probe with them. I even had an old fella pick a new well spot years ago at my parents using green tree branches instead of copper wire.

You're just guessing. It's called the idiomotor effect. You can also just walk over and point. It's just as effective, and you don't look silly.

Thanks for expressing your opinion, Matt. I have seen studies that show both sides of the opinion. I don't know the answer for sure. I do wonder though if God gave this method of finding water to man. I think of men in the Bible digging wells that lasted generations. Either way, I know that Jesus is the living water. Thanks, man.

@@carolinahillcountry Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this. Has been debunked by every single person who has done an experiment with any real controls. Anyone who is in the scientific community will just chuckle when you bring it up because it's been proven without a doubt to be fake. So, it isn't my opinion. It's a proven fact. And bringing God into it is just silly. As a Christian myself, I do believe in miracles, but I also believe in common sense. James Randi offered 1 million dollars to anyone who could do this at a rate better than guessing, for many years. Thousands attempted, and no one was able to do so. Why? Because its not real. Its called the idiomotor effect. Your brain takes over your fine motor skills and manipulates the stick/wire and you don't realize it. Sort of like highway hypnosis. That's why you have to be gullible... I mean, you really have to believe to make it work. If you isolate the rods, not from your body, but from your own movements, you'll quickly realize that you are the one moving it. Therefore, it's all you. Now, you can claim that God is the one telling you to move it, but then, why do you need the stick? Just walk over and point. Like I said, good luck finding even one person in the scientific community who would be able to have serious conversation about this because it's failed every serious study that it's ever been in while using actual controls. Sorry, but this isn't opinion, but a proven fact. If you'd like to know why I care so much, look into the ADE 651. It was a dowsing bomb detector that some guy made millions off of, and got countless people killed because it isn't real. He even went to prison for it. You convincing people that this is real could result in a lot of people looking silly while walking around their back yards with a stick, but can also result in someone trying to use this when it actually matters. So be responsible. Do a tiny bit of research. Look up idiomotor effect and the ADE 651 before you continue perpetuating this parlor trick as reality.

@@carolinahillcountry Also, God loves us so much, that he gave us the gift of water under almost every bit of the earth, but just like many of Gods gifts, you may have to do a little work to find it because some places are deeper than others, but almost anywhere you dig, you will find water, and you'd actually be lucky to find a spot that doesn't have water. God is great!

The physics involved in dowsing have been reverse engineered in the book, The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), which explains all of the physics involved in dowsing and how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that accurately gauges what is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is attached on the elevated acetylene welding rod, with being located five-inches away from the hub's shaft. This precisely gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading of the sought element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anyone can become a professional dowser by practicing the book's dowsing lessons of buried pipelines and electrical cables, tunnels and voids, precious metal placer and lode deposits, dowsing for treasure, dowsing for any element, amplified long distance dowsing from a moving vehicle, and dowsing on water from a boat. I hope dowsing enriches your life and have a safe, healthy, good day.
