There must be a thousand ways to say Thank You; THANK YOU!!!!!. I've nearly finished my first ByAnnie bag, "Easy Does It", using directional fabric, which led me, a newbie, into all sorts of traps; I made an error in my cutting which made my side strip too short which resulted in me having to create a quilted patch on my side strip: I used your re-joining method, as shown in this video, on either side of my patch, and it worked perfectly. Your videos have made it possible for me (a newbie to many sewing techniques, including quilting) to make bags. I never in a million years would have imagined that bag-making would be a path I would follow. Your patterns, their practical uses, your videos, your excellent teaching skills, the colours, the fabrics, your methods, and your enthusiastic follower-bag-makers have made this possible for me. THANK YOU!!!! From Sydney Australia 🧵✔😀💖

An awesome training which really gives me confidence when tackling bag making. I'm much more likely to purchase patterns when I can view great step by step videos with an excellent teacher. The videos are professionally made, to the point & provide great close-up viewing. Well done!

This was a great tutorial. I have had problems with directional fabrics and have avoided them. It will take some practice, but it will be worth it. Many thanks.

That fabric is called 'Curio', designed by Betsy Olmsted (Windham Fabrics). It's absolutely beautiful in person!
