Using digilegs stilts in my owl monster costume.

These are the 'Digilegs' stilts made by the company 'Area 51' in the UK, I've used these in my Owlbeast costume and plan to do more cosplays with them in future!
Let me know in the comments what cosplay you would use these for? I'm thinking of Raven Beak from Metroid Dread, and Stolas from Helluva Boss.
I'll be uploading more shorts and original content in the coming months here on youtube, so please don't forget to subscribe for updates!

I’m not a furry, but tbh I have mad respect for some of them. These consumes are so complex. People are out hear not only building stilts to imitate how an animal would walk, but then other people are teaching themselves how to walk on those stilts just to make their cosplays look more otherworldly and non-human. I don’t care what anyone says. That’s not cringe. That’s cool as hell and takes a lot of talent.

You could probably use something like tights/leggings around the stilts, that way you can get more of a natural skin on flesh look for the legs as they move and you can put stuffing or silicone pads between the tights/leggings and the stilts to cover any bars and springs that stick out then add scales and feathers as needed for a more natural bird like look.

With those stilts you should REALLY do like a Spriggan or a Leshy. That would look BADASS.

Those stilts are pretty awesome, and expensive too as you said. Thinking I might try building my own version with some improvements such as the ability to flex the joint 90 degrees and gas charged cylinders for less effort and recovery assistance. That alone could allow for some crazy good movement, including extended jumping, etc.

Jumping stilts work too (also once you get the hang of them), but I'd have preferred knowing about these first.

Those legs would make a killer Sangheili cosplay. (Elites from Halo.) You could do R'tas Vadum, he's got a wound where he's missing two mandibles.

Many years ago, there was a Master Costumer who did a satyr costume. He made the legs himself instead of buying them. His costumes were incredible, and he earned the accolades from the Costumer's Guild.

something more terrifying, and confusing for the onlooker: wear the digilegs under jeans (and shoes) that have been made to accommodate such long legs, then walk around doing your daily stuff in public like it was the most normal thing in the world.
