Fluid Oz. =/= Oz.

I have lots of Coleman fuel for camping. I'm interested in seeing if it works in my had warmer as it is a less costly fuel than lighter fluid. Gasoline is lighter than water. 12oz by volume is the same for gas as it is for water but not by weight. It's just that gas is 26% lighter than water. 74% * 12 = 8.9 oz by weight.

I use colman fuel in a Zippo lighter without problems after all zippo fuel and Coleman fuel are both napthta. The refinement may not be the same but they both work.

No videos about these I've seen point out how hot these get out of the bag in a pocket or hoodie front pocket. The zippo fluid here is like $1.50, these are actually pretty useful and cheap when used right

Well, you are almost there. Ronsonol is 70% Naptha and 30% Petroleum Ether. Colman Camp Fuel is 100% Naptha.

You ever tried a turkey baster to fill these?

If you use the Zippo Hand Warmer fuel- it emits less smell. I have slept with one of these under covers with no problems.
