I had the privileged to drive a 2016 Impala as a 1 week rental in Miami FL. My iPhone music and calls worked with out plugging in to the lighting/USB via Bluetooth. But I did not have all the options I see you doing, wow. I wish I knew about your video early. It would have saved me the trouble of trying to prop up my iPhone 5 against the wind shield; LOL. At least I know for next time. Thank you B. Ivey !!!

I really hope this works with Ipod classic.

It’s so weird that I would have to plug it inside the console when there is already a USB port under the infotainment center.

So, this only work with an apple phone, because I got a galaxy and car play doesn't work. 😡🤬

You car get it, for about 1400 USD.. So, why not just buy a few ipads....

Why doesn't this work on my 2016 Impala that has Navigation?

+Detroit Love Hmm, it should be working. If you're trying to use the new AndroidAuto with a Droid, you do have to come into the dealership for the update. But if you're using the iPhone, you should have no problems, as long as you're using the data cable (not the regular charging one). Feel free to call our Service Department at (844) 671-3967 to discuss your problem if this answer doesn't help!

Detroit Love ...you have to go to settings on your screen and turn on the apple car play option feature in order for the apple car play to work...
