Adobe Bridge is free to use. You need to sign up for an Adobe Creative Cloud account and then download the software for free. Bridge used to come bundles on the DvD with Adobe Photoshop so most people assumed that it came as part of the Photoshop package. Now with the Creative Cloud account you can use it for free.
Adobe Bridge works seamlessly with DxO PhotoLab, I am currently using it again as I am thinking about workflows that no longer include Photo Mechanic. I will experiment next with FastRawViewer as another low cost image importer.
My digital image workflow was: Photo Mechanic - DxO PhotoLab - Photoshop or Affinity Photo.
An Adobe workflow could be: Adobe Bridge - DxO PhotoLab - Photoshop.
Without Adobe, my workflow could be: FastRawViewer - DxO PhotoLab - Affinity Photo.
