    Nice, I've been using pvc pipe and a coupler with cotter pins to make my jigs.

    Instead of melting a "blob" on the end, I would recommend putting a bead on each end and a stopper knot.

    Excuse my terminology and Hopefully you can follow along, lol. Each time you wrap, could you put the new cord under the cord that is already on the pin(between jig and existing cord)? That way you can just pull off the pin instead of over a cord and off the pin. When I get around to buying or making a jig I think I will try this method. Nevermind, after watching the video in slowmo, I see why that would not work now. I thought I was a friggin' genius for a second.
