I grew up with this show as a kid this is the show that made me fall in love with monster trucks & grave digger big big fan of him the little kid comes outa me as I’m watching this lol as a kid when I saw invaders promo I used to think it was cobra commander lmao

These aired KPLR during the night so the commercials where either "hits of the 80's" info commercials or 1-900 talk dirty ads and I was 7 when this was on.

@@DirtnationOne I guess the show would play at different times in different markets, which probably made a show like "Monster Wars" which was designed for a younger audience that much more strange for anyone who stumbled upon it late at night (either after partying, or getting ready to go out partying). Even though I was 13 years-old at the time, people thought I was doing drugs when I tried to explain this show to them. Something that doesn't happen in an age when you can bring up whatever crazy thing you just saw on the Streaming service or Social Media you just witnessed it on.

Got to love Dennis. He is a people's champion if you think about it. He cares about giving them a good show and not about winning.

I see why I liked this show as a kid. The mascots were like extremely over the top wrestlers.

I remember seeing the Predator monster truck on this show and I went crazy!!!! I've never seen a truck like that before.

25 years ago. I'm 33 and this was my shit when I was 8. Trying to collect all 6 of the Matchbox trucks.

Yeah. They were soooo over the top, it made pro-wrestling look tame and dignified by comparison... I loved how they weren't so much supposed to be the drivers of the trucks, as they were supposed to be the physical personification of the monster trucks... Like these actors were told, "Okay, you're portraying this truck called Gravedigger... if it were a living, breathing entity. You are Gravedigger!"

Now what do you think of the mascots lol. I think they just lowered the tv show and that's why most people don't take monster trucks seriously.

The Intro sounds like a radio commercial in GTA Vice City

God I loved those trash talking promos. :D :D :D I didn't really care all that much about the trucks themselves; they were cool and all, but what I really wanted to see was the trash talk. Cheesy as they are, back then it was so cool. XD They were like real life superheroes and villains. :D Equalizer was my favorite. ^^

Bigfoot & Andy Brass make one Monster Wars event it's on misterbones channel or just search USHRA Pontiac 1993 its in five parts.

I think that part about the lady was a bit set up. Of course the ticket guys gonna know her name it's a roll call window n not fair she got her stuff signed before the other people in line hmmm😒 n where all her other monster truck stuff lol.

SCRIPT FOR MONSTER TRUCK SHOW: Pretty Lady: I don't know what I'm saying, but it's on the teleprompter, I guarantee! Bill Nye the Science Guy: I'm going to explain why you find this interesting Blackie Lawless: Argh! Monster trucks are for stupid people so I'm going to act real dumb! Doom Guy: Argh! Me too! (10 seconds of racing) Skeletor: I forgot to pack any clothes except my long purple underwear! DONE...

As a kid I remember watching TNT Tuff Trax with Army Armstrong. It puzzled me why the show stopped and then this show came out, unbeknownst to me USHRA bought out TNT just for the TV rights and this show SUCKED!!! Even for me as a kid, I couldn't watch it.... It wasn't till TNN's Trucks & Tractor Power started that I started watching monster trucks again.

Loved this show as a kid. But why is the host dressed like she is about to sleep with someone? I just find it hilarious.

It was the 90's, besides this episode was record at 12am Monday morning where commercials had "Dance Dance songs of the 80's" (both on c.d. and cassette tape), and talk dirty lines on a syndicated station. If you look in other episodes Luann dress like she just came from her day job at State Farm.
