Ushguli (Georgian: უშგული) is a community of four villages located at the head of the Enguri gorge in the historical region of Svaneti, Georgia. Recognized as the Upper Svaneti UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ushguli is one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe. Typical Svanetian defensive tower houses are found throughout the village.

Countries which are to the east of Asia Minor cannot be described as being in Europe.

Europe is not really a continent in a strictly geographic sense (that would be Eurasia) but in a cultural sense. And if you ask most Georgians, they will say that they are Europeans. I personally consider the Caucasus as a transition zone between Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
