Did not see this until now. Almost brought tears to my eyes. Usha-Ji, the beloved daughter of my home city, is an institution. The grace, the talent, the sheer energy to rise above the overwhelming drudgeries of everyday life in India..... she did that. With "shaan." And, doing it even now. Usha-Ji . . . You will always be a part of my life.

I was just 5 years old when I saw the movie “Shaan” ,and I instantly fell in love with her voice. This woman is truly a gift to the music industry,and the world .. #ushauthup

If you would have ever watched her live you could realize what magic she could create in seconds out her outstanding voice. She was been brutally scathed for being different but she has been always honest to her Music. She is indeed ahead of her time.
