You're right about inspection of surplus gear. I found 2 USMC ILBE main rucksacks in very good condition online for $90 each. I drove out of state to check them out in person. The guy kept talking my head off while i was inspecting them. At first he tried to sell me a Gen1 and a Gen2 and i said oh no dude, i want 2 Gen2's. I inspected 4 or 5 of the packs and picked what i thought were the best 2. All of them had straps missing or tye flap was cut off or whatever. I got home and realised one of them had a busted zipper, i managed to fix it. The other one has a couple of busted buckles, no biggie, but still. Very good condition means all buckles and zippers are functional. I was and still am pissed about that. I'm sure that's why he was talking to me the whole time. Be careful buying surplus.

Also forgot to mention, that the same suspenders shown on the L5 pants, will work with the L6 pants.

about the level 6 gore tex...does it has kind of polyurethane coating on the zippers? especially on the armpits?

I dont think you said in the video specifically, but is this ECWCS kit the items on Fort Bragg site?

sir can u give me some advice on the sizing of the softshell? I am 5'10" and 180 lbs. I think Medium Regular would fit..or it could be bigger than I thought? what size do u wear and how does it fit?

I'm 6'1" and I wear a large long. Medium Regular should fit you.

@@AlphaCharlieConcepts ya it's sad actually that they are so expensive, they all go out of business up by me, there's one that has these for 189.99 for small n med, large n xl are 199.99. 19.99 for a used canteen cup? Fuk that, im gonna check out that ft bragg surplus they sound legit, thanks for the tip
