    @@FreeMilesMCTruly is. Owned a 2008 Bonneville for about eight years, also the machine I learned to ride on. Now own a 2022 Interceptor. Impossible for me to say which one I like(d) more, but sitting out in the rain, drinking Guinness and talking bikes? Yeah, could do that for a week. Sláinte!

    Great vídeo. Specialy the two motorciclists sitting in the rain drinking Guiness talling motorcicle part.

    I think the Re Inter650 is a good Price Value Budget Bike. Some compromises have to be made in some points. Chrome and Rubber. For twice the price of a Triumph I would expect a better standard of quality. In the end, they are a kind of sister model for different requirements that are in the same segment.

    I got a 2009 Bonneville SE for $4200 a few years ago. It had 7k miles. Deleted all the emissions garbage, added some pipes and 🎉. I’ve never had any of those sketchy issues. I did however change the front and rear suspension

    Those Irish roads are addictive. Been riding there mainly in the south round Cork and Ennis in the 70’s & 80’s when I was younger and still living in London. Wonderful people and some really good rock-bands to be enjoyed, Cool bike Ferdy and thanks for sharing your experience 😉 Best wishes from Düsseldorf….

    My motorcycle sort of squirmed around some like the frame was flexing....but what was actually happening is that the bushings where the top of the rear shock absorbers bolt to the motorcycle had gotten worn and so there was some play where the rear shocks wiggled around a bit and that made the motorcycle swerve around a little bit. The replacement bushing was improved and only cost about 10 dollars and it totally solved the problem. Cheap fix. So I would suggest that you check the bushings where the shock bolts on. It might not be the frame after all.

    Great review, I Just bought a Continental GT 650, 2020 model, 1400miles in mint condition £3600. Interseptors are out there at similer prices. Ive owened the Triump 790 in the past and the riding experiance is not that differnt but the value for money is!

    I think the handling is probably due to crap tires. They ain't good to begin with and if they're the same ones on it for the last 10 yrs, they've probably seen better days. The overly soft at low speeds and jarring at higher speeds is likely due to the old damping rod fork. I have a Thruxton and I think its forks might have shim stacks, but it was still crashy on sharper bumps. I put a lighter grade fork oil in it and that seemed to cure it. The shocks were overdamped garbage and I had to replace those with some Wilburs. A set of EBC pads and a brake flush would probably fix the brake feel too. My Thruxton's got over 60k miles on it now and rides better than new. They are great bikes with a few tweaks.

    How is that a nice thing thing that you put a key at the side? So that it can dangle on the wind, and damage the paint of the bike?

  • @jlrutube1312

    @jlrutube1312

    3 ай бұрын

    I have a Honda VTX 1300 and the key goes in the side of the bike. I used to just stick my keys in and go ride but after a couple of months I realized that my plastic chrome around the ignition was getting all messed up. So now I just use 1 motorcycle key without anything attached to it so that nothing will dangle in the wind and mess up the looks. So yes, you are exactly right.

    @FreeMilesMC Over all, your Enfield is better value for money. It has same top speed of 160km and retro look as Sporty but it's half price exactly! ( Sporty , basic , one seat , 2006 was 8450 e plus registration...) You could replace fixings with stainless, protect the chrome with w40 when it's stored and apply wax on the paint and will last for ever. 👍

    Triumph were British motorcycles when they were built in England. Bike should have hydraulic valve adjustment and belt drive. Engine was designed to be a money maker for the company. Belt drive lasts 100,000 miles. Sprockets last forever ♾️.
