I only use that for special occasions, when I need to measure something accurately !

Good press brake at a good deal . I bought one just like this a few years back from Gary and have had no problems at all.

My only concern is being able to swap the bottom and top dies to segmented. I do stainless countertops and need to be able to make reverse bends with down flanges. Will the bed and top hold regular dies?

the bottom dies on this are already segmented. The punch is also segmented

Could you tell me why it was bending more on one side than the other and if it is easy to solve? thanks gary

its very common on this style brake, its a mechanical adjustment, most likely a brake like this will never bend dead perfect right/left on 8ft, but there is a mechanical adjustment that is somewhat trial and error, but no its not hard, takes 15-20 min

I'm only a hobbyist, so I'm not in the market for a machine like this, but I have to say that I expected it to be MUCH more expensive.
